DESCRIPTION The FAPN102-R-10L fire alarm panel was developed to provide a cost- and space-saving conventional fire alarm panel together with more user-oriented functions. The size of the fire alarm panel is approximately 17% smaller than that of our FAP129N series 10-zone fire alarm panel. The cabinet is made of ABS resin non-flammability to UL- 94V2. The fire alarm panel equips with the function to lock the operation of its front panel. That is useful to prevent the unauthorized persons from operating the front panel. <Alarm Inputs> Conventional fire detectors and manual alarm boxes are connected to alarm input circuits to give visual and audible alarm at the panel and to actuate alarm bells. The FAPN102-R-10L fire alarm panel has 10 alarm input circuits (zones). <Auxiliary input> An auxiliary input signal can be connected to an auxiliary input circuit to be displayed on the panel. It may be used for a non-alarm input signal. <Signal Outputs> 2 representative alarm signals are available. 10 voltage-free contacts are available for signal output when an optional unit is used. A group of output signal for an annunciator panel is available when an optional unit is used. <Alarm bell activation> There are 2 modes to activate alarm bells. One is to actuate all alarm bells at the same time, called general alarm. The other is to actuate a group of alarm bells depending on the location of a fire, called localized alarm. One pair of terminals is available for the general alarm. The programmable 10 voltage-free contacts are used for the localized alarm when an optional unit is connected to the panel. <Automatic self-checking> The following are automatically monitored at all time. ・Detector circuits for continuity ・Connection of the battery and fuse blown-out ・Microcomputer chip and memory chips for abnormal running ・Main fuse for blown-out ・Emergency voice alarm communication system circuit for continuity and short <Programming> The following are programmable for setting and canceling on the front panel. ・Non used-alarm input circuits without putting dummy loads ・Alarm verification function to alarm-input circuits ・Interlocking an auxiliary input signal with an audible alarm at the panel ・Interlocking alarm input signals with representative alarm signals ・An audible alarm at the panel during main power off ・Interlocking alarm input signals with 10 voltage-free contact outputs. <Fire protection-related device control> The FAPN102-R-10L fire alarm panel is dedicated to the fire alarm function. For controlling fire protection-related devices such as smoke vents, fire extinguishing system etc., the FCS128N series fire alarm panel is available.
